Details
This painting was completed en plein air this spring 2020 when all the world seems collapsed. The beauty and colour in the blossoms here in Niagara made me hopeful for the future. I referenced Mondrian, Monet and Matisse and finally Nicolas de Stael. Somehow I believe this painting reached a new plateau for me and my zen came forward and made a metaphor of the Apple Tree
